The NFL Draft is one of the most anticipated events of the offseason and YouTube creators had a front row seat to all the action. As a part of the NFL and YouTube’s Access Pass program, Peighton Tubre was invited to attend the 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit and got special access all week, including a private tour of the NFL Draft Theater, interviews with top prospects, and a dedicated space on the Red Carpet. Peighton takes us behind the scenes of her amazing NFL Draft experience from her red carpet interviews and the draftee fashion drip to meeting Roger Goodell.
I was fortunate enough to work with YouTube and the NFL at the 2024 NFL Draft where I was given the experience of a LIFETIME! Words cannot express how incredible my weekend was …so I included some pictures too hahaha. Here’s a recap of my experience at the 2024 NFL Draft.
Wednesday started off with a private tour of the 2024 NFL Draft Theater. I was one of the first people to see the podium, the green room, and walk through the iconic draft tunnel. Maybe I was actually first overall…? Lol
Afterwards, we headed over to the Corner Ballpark where draftees participated in a Play Football event with Special Olympic Athletes. In between drills, I filmed some fun rapid-fire questions with the several of the most prominent players. Check it out!
Thursday was Day 1 of the 2024 NFL Draft! I headed over to Fox Theater where I was able to interview all the prospects as they walked the NFL Draft Red Carpet.
But it’s not the 2024 NFL Draft without Draft Drip! First overall pick, Caleb Williams, showed me his custom 1 of 1 Chrome Hearts suit along with his fingernails which were painted the color pin- I mean silver!
Being born and raised in Louisiana, this experience was extra special for me since there were 3 LSU Tigers walking the Red Carpet (or 4 if you include me haha). Jayden Daniels and Malik Nabers even made NFL Draft History as the first QB-WR duo to be selected in the Top Ten of the same draft…GEAUX TIGERS!🐯
What I’m about to say might upset some LSU fans but…. I had a BLAST talking to Alabama prospects Terrion Arnold, JC Latham, and Dallas Turner. They gave me the inside scoop on what it’s like being coached by the GOAT, Nick Saban. They also gave me a hard time for being an LSU fan…LOL which was great because who doesn’t love good football banter?!
I was able to talk to every single player at the 2024 NFL Draft which was awesome. The amount of great footage I have on my phone is amazing! I can’t wait to post these interview clips from the Red Carpet on YouTube! Be sure to subscribe to my channel.
OH! The GlamBOT? Are you serious?! NFL Sunday Ticket brought Cole Walliser and the GlamBOT to the Prospect Media Tour, to celebrate players getting drafted! I practiced for this moment alone in my room once… but don’t tell anyone I told you that! Lol. Can’t wait to see how this turned out!
YouTube and the NFL really provided the FULL VIP experience. I was front row for the 2024 NFL Draft and the energy and atmosphere was absolutely electric! The best seats in the house.
Also, it was so fun meeting NFL fans from all over the country (and the world)! 🌎
Did I just shake hands with Roger Goodell??? What is my life!! LOL
Wow. YouTube and the NFL… what a perfect combination. Seems like the only thing I DIDN’T do at the 2024 NFL Draft, was sign a contract to play!
